The National Wallace Monument


The National monument to Sir William Wallace, patriot, martyr, and Guardian of Scotland, near the site of The Battle of Stirling Bridge where Wallace beat the English. The monument was designed by J. T. Rochead who was a prominent Victorian architect. The picture was taken from Stirling Castle.
