Holland America Line's MS Nieuw Statendam cruise ship, moored next to the Muziekgebow, in Amsterdam Harbour

MS Nieuw Statendam is a Pinnacle-class cruise ship currently operated by Holland America Line (HAL), a division of Carnival Corporation & plc. Debuting in December 2018, she is the second of HAL's Pinnacle-class, making her the sister ship to MS Koningsdam and the forthcoming MS Ryndam. Her name, Nieuw Statendam, alludes to the five previous HAL ships named Statendam. Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ (English: "Music Building on the IJ") is the main concert hall for contemporary classical music on the IJ in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The building opened in 2005 and is located above the IJtunnel, a ten-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal station. The building was designed by Danish architects 3XN. The Bimhuis is part of and partly integrated in the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ.
