Naval covers belonging to participants from countries around the world sit on a table aboard the Australian ANZAC-class frigate HMAS Warramunga (FFGH 152) during a reception dinner as part of AMAN 09. AMAN, an Urdu word meaning peace, is a 10-day exercise that focuses on air, surface and maritime security training and includes representatives from 38 countries as well as ships from 11 nations to include the United States, United Kingdom, Pakistan and Australia. The at-sea portion of the exercise is primarily conducted in the North Arabian Sea, off the coast of Pakistan.
