KFOR conducts these routine patrols as an impartial force, in cooperation with the Serbian military, in order to ensure compliance with Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Military Technical Agreement and maintain a secure environment for all citizens of Kosovo. Simpson is the commander of the North Carolina National Guard's 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, and assumed command of MNBG-E's mission in July 2015. ( Army photo by Capt.
