This new variety from Western China is admittedly one of the most beautiful Lilies yet in- troduced. It grows 3 to 5 feet high, and blooms out of doors in July. It is perfectly hardy, and flourishes under very varied conditions, the large trumpet shaped, delicately scented flowers, which are produced freely, are ivory white shaded pink, tinged with canary yellow at the base of the petals.
