Landscape with the Flight into Egypt painted by the Dutch Renaissance painter Pieter Breughel the Elder in 1563. Breughel was the most important painter of the Dutch and Flemish Renaissance. His choice of subjects was influential, he rejected portraits and religious scenes in favour of local and peasant scenes.
