Design for a candlestick intended to be executed in gilded and green bronze and white marble. Upon a half circular base with a black fluted band, decorated with three gold lion masks, stands a tripod. Around two of the legs are wound respectively a vine and a snake--around the third leg at the front is a crossed caduceus and a club. At the rim of the tripod are three seated female figures of allegories.
