The sum of 5250 in winter, from a cellar under a farm building came in handy. Used only about 75 lbs. of spawn.' Best English Milltrack Spawn. Per brick 15 cts.; 12 bricks $175; 100 bricks $ By mail, 25 cts. per brick. French Spawn. In 3 lb. boxes $ Okra, or Gombo. This vegetable is extensively grown for its green pods, which are used in soups, stews, etc., to which they impart a rich flavor and are considered nutritious. Sow the seed thickly in rich ground about the middle of May, or when the ground has become warm, in drills 3 feet apart and 1 inch deep; thin out to 10 inches apart in the drills. Dreer's Little Gem.
