The State Florists' Association held its regular meeting at La Fayette on Tuesday, February 4. The florists have been visiting different towns each month, which is a most satisfactory ar- rangement, as is shown by the well attended meetings. The Uorners, at La Fayette, did themselves proud and the visitor's reported a fine time. The next meeting, which was sched- uled for Stuart & Haugh's, of Ander- son, will be held, instead, at W. J. & M. S. Vesey's, Fort Wayne. Stuart & Haugh found it necessary to withdraw their invitation for March 4; hence the change. The April meeting will be held with O. L. Frank, of Portland, Ind. Pittet is the only grower who is cutting them to amount to anything. His new variety is fine and is doing well, considering the weather. It seems to hold its buds better than the common varieties. George Wiegand has returned from a month's sojourn in the sunn
