"Pfc. Beaulieu captured a historic moment on April 2, 1973, at Camp Pendleton, California during Operation Homecoming. In this photo, General Robert E. Cushman, Jr., accompanied by former Marine POWs, including Captain James V. Dibernardo, Major Paul J. Montague, Capt. William K. Angus, CWO William E. Thomas, Sgt. Jose Anzaldua, and Sgt. Ronald Ridgeway. This operation marked the repatriation of 26 Marine prisoners of war, who were held captive by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War."
