MEDICAL.—Chairyung takes this occasion to record itsthanks to God for having a medical force so prepared by and so backed up by the station that Dr. Whitingcould take a years furlough and come back to an uninter-rupted and undiminished work (this not discounting thegood work done by Miss McKee and Dr. and Mrs. Ludlow) ;also that the medical work is so nearly self-supporting; andthat the medical work, while being so thorough as such isno less evangelistic, practising team-work with telling ef-fect.
