Orang tip butterfly female (orange on males) alighted on flowers resting before flying away. Anthocharis cardamines. Green white marbled hind wings.
This orange tip is a female so has not got the orange tip but it had recently emerged and settled so was in prime condition. A couple of gentlemen were holding it on a leaf taking photos of it on there phones. They then put it down on a plant where it stayed a short while then flew to the flowers in my image. The men told me it was a female orange tip.
