Windmill, Lambeth, London, 1814. Windmill with a circular wooden balcony and cap which could rotate into the wind. The sails were either louvered and could be opened or closed with a pulley, or covered with cloth, according to the strength of the wind. This windmill was in Mill Street, which was later known as Juxon Street.
