Two open torpedo tubes in the 'Forward Torpedo room', also used as sleeping quarters for 14 crewmen, 16 torpedoes stored at any one time - 6 in the tubes and 10 reloads, in the USS Pampanito (SS-383), a World War II Balao class Fleet submarine museum and memorial which made six patrols in the Pacific during World War II sinking six Japanese ships and damaging four others, moored alongside Pier 45 at Fisherman's Wharf
