A long camera exposure blurs the surface of the fast-flowing Valira del Nord river as it tumbles over rocks and riverbed pebbles in the Coll d’Ordino, a beautiful eastern Pyrenees valley in northern Andorra. Square format image captured beside the Pont d’Ordino or Pont de l’Estarell, an ancient humpback bridge spanning the river just north of the hamlet of Llorts.

This image was captured beside the Pont de l’Estarell or Pont d’Ordino, a 15th century, single-arch humpback bridge rebuilt here, stone by stone, after it had to be moved from its previous location to make way for a new road.
