Rosemary Sutton, sister to Army veteran Spc. Daniel George Hegarty, embraces the American flag alongside Steve Sutton, her husband, and Glenda Smallwood, her daughter, as her brother was laid to rest, May 18, 2022, at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Dozens of active duty Soldiers stood alongside veterans and local community members to pay their respects to Hegarty, who served from served July 1975 to July 1978.
