It is an excellent per, and sold in Philadelphia markets at b ter prices than any other variety oft'ered at the same time. Ripens evenly to the stem, is a strong, healthy grower, not subject to rust or blight, is an enormous cropper, and produces until the vines are killed by frost, holding its size exceedingly well un- tiltbelast picking. Quality the very best, and for cooking and slicin^' purposes it cannot he excelled. It is in every way a desirable variety for Market Gardeners, hence the name, 'Trucker's Favorite.'" With the growing popu- larity iu many markets of purple-colored tomatoes, this valuable new variety will be welcomed.
