The locomotive dump at Kalamata on the southern tip of the Greek Peloponnese featuring , a French built Z Class 2-6-0T, many of which were built in Paris during the 1880s/90s and saw service throughout the metre gauge lines of the Peloponnese peninsular. These engines are similar to the ones depicted by the French impressionist Claude Monet in his famous set of paintings at St Lazare station in Paris. Picture dated Monday 9 April 1973.
