The Headington Shark is a rooftop sculpture in the New High Street of Headington, Oxford, England. This surreal public artwork depicts an oversized shark embedded head-first in the roof of a house. Since the shark first landed there in 1986, this has become the most famous residence in Oxford. NOTE TO EDITOR: This is a public artwork, photographed from a public place/thoroughfare.
