Skardu, Pakistan - October 2, 2016: A four wheel drive Toyota Landcruiser Prado on a deserted road at the Deosai Plains in Skardu district of Gilgit-Baltistan province of Pakistan. The Deosai Plains are known for their flowers, flora and fauna especially when the area is in full bloom in Spring. The National Park is a habitat for the Himalayan Brown Bear and has been designed to ensure the bear's survival from extinction. The park has an average elevation of 4,114 meters above sea level, making the Plains one of the highest plateaus in the world. The park protects an area of 3,000 square kilometers. It is a popular tourist attraction and is visited from Skardu city.
