The Sopwith Dolphin had better stability and visibility, and was the fastest British pursuit machine in use. It had a wing spread of 32 ft. 6 in., a motor of Hispano 200 HP, and an endurance of 2 hrs. 15 min. It could climb to 6,500 ft. in 7 min., with a speed of 131 miles, and had a ceiling of 20,000 ft. It was manned by a single crew and had 2 guns.
