Up to thepresent time Dr. Humfreville hasattended only to general practice,hut is devoting what spare time hecan to a special study of diseasesof the stomach and intestinal tract,which he ultimately expects to makehis specialty, by his devotion to hischosen profession he has won the ad-miration of the older members ofthe profession. He is a close stu-dent, not only of the special work hehas in mind, but of the general prac-tice of medicineas well. EDWIN E. HUNTER. Edwin E. Hunter was born inAuburn, N. Y., Aug. 29, 1864. Early. in life he came to Missouri, and onMarch 17, 1887, he graduated fromthe St. Louis College of practiced pharmacy for the nexttwelve years, devoting, however, agreat deal of his time to analyticalchemistry. After locating in St. Joseph decided to study accordingly entered the Ens- is or>- I its nature,and he has built up for himselfquite a paying business.
