Early evening beekeeping on an organic small holding.
This WBC hive belongs to Pat Foxwell of Ourganics, her permaculture holding in Litton Cheney had placed a swarm into this hive but was unsure of what to do next. Chris Slade is investigating. A drift of smoke across the top of the hive calms the bees and persuades them to move away from it to enable the hive to be dismantled.
