Protesters marched through downtown Austin Texas ending at the Texas State Capitol spreading awareness of the dangers of genetically modified organisms (GMO) and calling for the United States government to mandate the labeling of foods created using GMOs. Monsanto and the government have come under fire by the public recently for failing to provide mandatory labeling on foods containing GMOs, although 62 other countries in the world already have GMO labeling laws in effect. © J.
