Air Force Lt. Col. John MacRae, the 134th Fighter Squadron Commander at the 158th Fighter Wing, lands an F-35A Lighting II at the Vermont Air National Guard Base, South Burlington, Vermont, Oct. 16, 2022. During this sortie, MaCrae reached over 1,000 hours piloting F-35's, an incredible milestone which is a testament to his experience and expertise piloting the Air Force’s newest 5th generation fighter aircraft.
