NEW GIANT SPIDER FLOWER. Cleome Gigantea.) 2002 We tested this in our trial grounds last summer, where it proved to be the finest Cleome which we had ever seen. The plant attained a height of 3-V feet, well branched, each branch terminated by a large head of bright rosy-crimson flowers, and far superior in size and coloring to all others. It makes a striking subject for large bedstor for interspers- ing in the mixed flower or shrubbery border.
