MONTE SOMMA, ITALY - MARCH 1, 2020 - It's a challenging hiking which leads to the bare ridges of Mount Somma, between rocky outcrops and lush forests, to “Cognoli”, the peaks of the mount, where you are rewarded by a unique landscape. From there, it continues along the ridge of Mount Somma, after which you descend along a steep stretch of lapilli and ash, up to the Valley of Hell, gliding like on sand dunes.
