One of the prettiest and sweetest of spring flowers, coming into bloom with the Crocus. It is absolutely hardy, and will grow almost anywhere. The flowers are royal purple and gold, and are borne freely on stems about 4 inches high, followed by grassy-like leaves 1 foot in height.
