In some areas of Telangana's Mahbubnagar district, thousands of people wander thousands of miles away from their families to graze sheep for years. Those who have been in this profession for many years lead a nomadic life away from family for months at a time. Many times the nomads are attacked while grazing these sheep. Many sheep get sick and die. But they heal the sheep with the medicine inherited by the shepherds.
