The following description has been kindly prepared by Mr Billings:— " Corallum fasciculate, dendroid. The corallites are elongate, cylin- dro-turbinate, the young individuals springing from the sides of the adult at various heights, rapidly attaining the full size ; at first slightly divergent, then parallel, and usually in contact with each other, or nearly so. They seem to be covered by a thin compact epitheca, and.
