View north to Caernarfon Bay/Bae Caernarfon from inside Tre'r Ceiri hillfort (Town of the Giants) showing one of the postern gates through the inner rampart with remains of the wall-walk & parapet. Begun in the late 1st millennium BC, drystone ramparts enclose some 5 acres (2ha) & around 150 huts which were still in use in the C4thAD. part of the fort was rebuilt in the C2ndAD during the Roman occupation of Britain.
