Sgt. 1el. Morris Fineberg, takes a photograph of a train wreck on the one-meter railroad at Maison Rouge, near Verdun. A defect in the switch caused the passenger train to crash into freight cars on a siding, and then into a pile of high explosive shells, which luckily did not explode.
