Mask representing a god, Aztec/Mixtec, Mexico, early 16th century.
Aztec Turquoise Mosaic representing a god, Aztec/Mixtec, Mexico, early 16th century. A turquoise and shell mask usually thought to represent the god Quetzalcoatl, although it could be a representation of Tonatiuh, the sun god.
