Workshop, Hampton's Munitions Works, Lambeth, London, 1914-1918. These people and their machines made furniture in peacetime. During the war they were employed to make military supplies. Here wood is being prepared, probably for use as storage crates. Note how the machines are all being run from one driveshaft.
