Mushrooms on wood. Close-up of the small fruiting bodies or mushrooms of two fungi. The Bisporella sulfurina fungus (yellow) feeds in the autumn on the dead wood of deciduous trees. It produces large, dense clusters of yellow cup mushrooms to disperse its reproductive spores. Two Lasiosphaeria ovina mushrooms are seen at lower left.
