Bastei, Germany. 01st May, 2017. People enjoy warm, but windy weather visisting the Bastei rock formation in Saxon Switzerland National Park, nera the Rathen and Pirna in Germany. The Bastei towers 194 m above the Elbe River in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains of Germany, reaching a height of 305 metres above sea level. Bastei rocks are the major landmark of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. The Bastei has been a tourist attraction for over 200 years.
