It is not clinically important. 10. Calcareous deposits are sometimes seen, and are supposed to be theresult of syphilis. They are found in the mucous tissue or in the blood-vessels,but are of no importance. 11. Hernia.—This is the protrusion of some of the abdominal contents atthe umbilicus, the result of faulty development.
