A simple but very effective lamp issuspended from the endmost rafter by slenderchains; the glass of the door, as well as of the highsquare windows on either side, is attractively treatedin lead strips and colour; the panels under each ofthe windows are framed with a delicate raisedmoulding, the field being beaded and occupied by aningeniously conventionalised plant ornament indelicate relief. Even the leaders which conduct therain water from the eaves back to the wall and downinto the ground hardly offend ones sense of pro-priety by cutting, as they do, through the air andacross the panels between door and windows.
