Hemarried Phebe Hobbs, of Somersworth, ,and left eleven children. Silas, the fifth child ofthis marriage, was boru in Berwick Aug. 8, short time previous to the beginning of thewar of the Revolution he worked as a tailor in thetown of Gorham, where he married Abigail Crock-ett.
