Antitetanic serum is injected and thewounded then tagged and grouped for transfer to the rear. The diagram shows the disposi-tion of the sanitary units and formations for one army corps. It represents the actual organi-zation of the surgical work at the front, yet each unit or formation is to take advantage ofany local protection, such as behind a hill.
