SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 3, 2012) - San Francisco locals gather for the arrival of a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) hovercraft for a Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Response (HAD/DR) exhibit. LCAC-24's arrival at San Francisco's Ocean Beach, allowed community members an up close experince with Navy and Marine Corps equipment. San Francisco Fleet Week is a five-day event which highlights the equipment, technology and operational capabilities of the military's sea services and their history in the San Francisco area.
