A percussion pistol,J. D. Baucheron in Paris,circa 1850. Blued,octagonal,rifled barrel(slightly spotted)in 12 mm calibre,patent breechblock and tang engraved with tendrils and the number "2". The percussion lock is also engraved,signed on the lockplate. Carved,beautifully grained half stock with fluted grip and iron furniture that is engraved en suite. Length 39 cm. Cf.
