Total blood volume was found by dividing the total sample volume of red cells by the respective sample hematocrit and computing an average for all samples. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION For comparative purposes the morphological categories of Tilapia blood cells were similar to those described by Catton (1951) and Klontz ct al.
