July 1, 2009 - Bitte stehen lassen (Please leave standing) is written on the doors of the entrance to the former Karstadt department store at Grosse Bergstrasse in Altona district of the German city of Hamburg. The building shut its doors in 2003 and its basement has since been used as a nightclub. Furniture giant IKEA has recently acquired the premises and plans to open an inner city branch.
