The British Army Lorries Prior To the First World War Petrol Lorry No. ASC 16 with Driver Edward J. Grubb standing by it. He was promoted Sergeant in 1911 and Company Sergeant Major in 65 Motor Transport Company ASC in 1913. He went on service in August 1914 with the 4th Division Supply Column, then with the 50th Divisionand afterwards with the 7th Division.
