Very free-flowering; color a rich cardinal-red; florets of medium size; a splendid bedding variety; 3f to 4 feet. Brilliant. Rich yellow with two bright-red curling tongue like petals in the centre; 4 feet. Buttercup. Bright buttercup-yellow, a healthy, dwarf, free bloomer; one of the best pure yellows. 20 cts. each; $ per doz.; $ per 100. Claude Montel. Very free blood-red with golden margin; 3£ feet. Consul W. Vellnagel. Large lemon-yellow, with reddish brown spots; 4 feet. Dr. E. Ackerknecht. Carmine-lake suffused with deep car- mine; very free-flowering; foliage bronze; 4 feet. Duke of Marlboro. Very deep crimson, an attractive bril- liant flower; 4 feet. Feuermeer. A brilliant fiery scarlet of medium size; excep- tionally free-flowering; very effective for massing; 4 feet. Gladiator.
