The Gloria Elevator, Lisbon.
The Elevador da Gloria is one of three funiculars in Lisbon. Two electric carriages, or trams, run alternately between Praca dos Restauradores and the upper part of Bario Alto with a passing section of tracks in the middle. At the upper end of this steep climb sits the viewpoint of the Miradouro de Sao Pedro de Alcantara which offers wonderful views across the city to the Castelo de Sao Jorge.
