General colour above deep chocolate-brown, the lower back and rump washed with olive; ear-coverts and lores rather darker brown than the head; wings brown like the back, the pri- maries margined with ashy white; tail deep brown, slightly washed with ashy on the margins of the feathers; cheeks, throat, and underparts white, slightly washed with yellow on the breast; across the fore neck a band of ashy brown ; flanks olive-brown, forming a broad lateral stripe ; sides of body silky white ; thighs olive-brown ; under tail-coverts
