The secondary eruption, whichappeared six weeks later, gradual!} dis- appeared after the third month withouttreatment. In August, 1916, she com-plained of pain in the left leg, which condi-tion persisted until she was seen in Feb-ruary, 1917. The roentgen ray plates atthis time showed one lesion in the lowerpart of the tibia and four in the os observation of this case was notpossible. Case III.—P. G., Filipina, fifteen yearsold. The primary lesion appeared on theleft leg in October, 1911. This lesion im-proved without treatment, but did notcompletely heal. The secondary eruptionappeared three weeks later and was mostmarked upon the feet. Other lesions werescattered about the face, anus, and one and one-half 3ears the eruptionhad disappeared except from the lowerextremities.
