The lip between the two latter is thickened and on its free dorsal edge next to the opening of the nectosac, there is an ovoid serrated rim. Brarfs (F'igs. 2, 26). C'ormidia have been found on stems of the superior nectophores of most species of Ahyla so that we now know that the "Amphiroa" type of eudoxid, usually referred to A. trigona, is characteristic for the genus as a whole.
